Welcome to active Sysslebäck. Dreamy nature experiences for outdoor lovers. Sysslebäck is located in this northern part of the municipality. Nature is close at hand here, with the beautiful Klarälven River and its riverbanks at its center. Here you will find most of the services you might need, such as a grocery store, a bank, a school up to grade 9, a library, and a tourist office. There is also a very nice multi-purpose activity hall with a swimming pool and sports hall. For those interested in culture, there is the local museum in Ransby with its unique pilgrim wallpaper. The forest is rich in game, mushrooms, and berries. Fishermen also find plenty of water here. Just south of Sysslebäck lies Branäs, one of Sweden's fastest-growing ski resorts, which, with its slogan "Short way to long slopes," gives the Sysslebäck region a real plus. This winter paradise has obvious hotspots for skiers and snowmobilers. North of Sysslebäck lies the snow-sure ski paradise of Långberget, with many beautiful cross-country ski trails and a smaller alpine ski slope. North of Sysslebäck lies Långflon, where Värmland meets Norway. Despite the village's small size, a large shopping center is under construction there, geared toward cross-border trade. The first phase is already completed and includes a full-range grocery store, a sports shop, and a restaurant. Sysslebäck offers all types of year-round accommodations, as well as several holiday homes.
