Swedish cottage by the lake

Welcome to the beautiful Värmland region, where a charming red house is situated in a truly exceptional location. Here you live along a long stretch of waterfront, giving the property a unique character and creating a close connection to the water – a rare feature.

Spanning 112 square meters, the house offers four rooms, including at least two bedrooms. It boasts a pleasant and cozy atmosphere. The light-filled kitchen, with a dining area by the window overlooking the greenery, is inviting. During the colder months, the wood-burning stove in the living room provides comfortable warmth. The modern bathroom features a shower and a convenient washing machine connection.

The property is currently being prepared for sale; further information will follow as soon as it is available.

The generous 56,294 square meter property encompasses open lawns, mature trees, and ample space for activities and relaxation. The long waterfront allows you to follow the water's edge along the property and create your own private spot for quiet mornings, enjoyable afternoons, or evenings gazing at the tranquil surface of the water. The forests of Finnskogen beautifully frame life here, and nature seamlessly integrates into everyday life.
The property also includes a larger outbuilding in the classic red style, providing additional space for storage, hobbies or leisure activities.

The seller tells

Sandheden was built by our grandfather, Wilhelm Laack, and we moved in in 1925. Our father was three years old at the time. It has been in our family ever since. Initially, there were animals on the farm. The meadows by the river and around the house were sufficient for a few cows and a potato field, but to earn a living, we also worked in the forest and in construction. There is access to fishing waters and hunting rights. All the forest animals roam the property. After the construction of the power station, the water level in the river stabilized, and one can travel long distances downstream and upstream by boat. We jokingly call the small lake below the house, formed by the river, "LaackNess." The farm provided us with our safety and our base. //Håkan Boris Henrik
