Position
About 10 km south of Torsby lies Bada. The region has a rural atmosphere, with plenty of forest, farmland, and, most notably, Lake Fryken! A connection across the lake runs from Kil in the south to Torsby in the north. Historically, the region was primarily home to the Bada Ironworks, which existed as early as the mid-17th century. Today, the Bada Manor attracts tourists with its summer cafés, among other amenities. About 6 km from Bada is the center of Lysvik, which includes a school, local services, and the popular Frykens Pärla restaurant.
